Shaul kosman
Musician, architect and artist—these are the three facets of Kosman's talented and creative personality. Kosman was born and raised in the Baltics, against the backdrop of classic European architecture. He played jazz and painted from the time he was a child. The themes of music and architecture are thus reflected and combined in his work. After he moved to Israel, Kosman's love for classic shapes and jazz as well as for Jewish themes was transformed into a deep understanding of the pulse of modern Israel. His paintings are a rich combination of acrylic and oil paint layered and textured using tools, spoons and other utensils. His expansive use of vibrant and brilliant colors enhances the content of his work and draws the viewer into his world.
